Holding the medical commission of gastroenterologists under the title "Autoimmune Hepatitis"

This meeting was hed on 28/November/2022 in the training hall of the Gastroenterology and Liver Research Center on the topic of autoimmune hepatitis for gastroenterology faculty members. In this meeting, at first, information was presented about the prevalence of autoimmune hepatitis in the country and its association with other autoimmune diseases. Then there was a discussion and exchange of opinions regarding the diagnostic methods of the disease, the need for liver sampling for diagnosis and follow-up. Then was explained about the treatment methods and drugs available to treat cases resistant to routine treatments. Finally, there was a discussion about liver transplantation in patients with autoimmune hepatitis.
